A New Early-mid Maturing Chinese Cabbage Pak-choi Cultivar‘Zhedaqing’

Abstract: ‘Zhedaqing’is a new Chinese cabbage pak-choi hybrid developed by crossing the cytoplasmic male sterile(CMS)line Ogu28-13-2A as female parent with inbred line Byde06-2-1-2 as male parent. The new cultivar is characterized by great commercial property showing compact,upright,and girdling plant type with dark green leaves. It also has good taste,high quality,strong adaptability,bolting-resistance and as well as resistances to downy mildew and turnip mosaic virus(TuMV). In production test,the average yield of‘Zhedaqing’reached 35 337 kg • hm-2 after 70-days of planting.
