Abstract: ‘Yinghua’is an early-ripening apricot（Prunus armeniaca Lam.）cultivar derived from the cross of‘Jintaiyang’בHonghebao’. Its grafted plants bear fruit in the second year. The fruit is ovate in shape with freestone and bitter kernel. Its ground color is yellow with flush in the sunward surface and the flesh color is also yellow. Its average fruit weight is 50.3 g，and the soluble solids content is 11.8%. It ripens in late-May in Tai’an，Shandong Province，and the fruit development period is about 67 d. The output of adult tree is over 33 000 kg • hm-2. Its seedlings juvenile phase is short and bear fruit in the third year，it can be used as breeding parent to breed new cultivar with short seedlings juvenile phase.
