A New Potato Cultivar‘Yunshu 113’for Both Fresh Consumption and Starch Extraction

Abstract: ‘Yunshu 113’is a new potato cultivar developed from a cross of S04-2303 as female and S02-223 as male.‘Yunshu 113’is for both fresh consumption and starch extraction. The skin is slightly smooth,white with shallow eyes. The tuber is in oval shape with white flesh. the starch content of the tuber was 18.71% in 2020. The yield is 28 620–59 000 kg • hm-2. It is late maturing,and the growth period is about 118 d. It is moderately resistant to late blight. The cultivar is upright,compact,with medium growth and concentrated tuber setting. The potato tuber is not easy to be peeled,so it is suitable for mechanized production. This cultivar is suitable for cultivation in potato spring planting area of Yunnan Province
