A New Longan Cultivar‘Fuxiang’with Rich Aroma

Abstract: ‘Fuxiang’is an excellent offspring from‘Dongbao 9’בWanxiang’crossing population. The fruit are in uniform size,oblatenes or approximately circular. Each fruit weight 13.2–15.2 g,soluble solid content is 19.8%–22.9% and esculent rate is 69.5%–70.9%. The juicy flesh is crisp,delicate-based slag and can be easy free from seed,texture tastes sweet,aromatic and in excellent quality. The fruits mature from mid-late September to early October in Fuzhou,with 15 day longer feasible harvest time. This cultivar is identified with high and stable production yield.
