A New Inontus hispidus Cultivar‘Huhuang 1’

Abstract: ‘Huhuang 1’is a new Inontus hispidus cultivar selected from the wild Inontus hispidus in Xinhe County,Xinjiang. The fruiting body is annual,solitary or imbricate,about 12 cm in diameter,blackened after drying;the surface of the cap is yellowish brown,spreading to semicircular,covered with coarse hairs,and the edge is blunt. After 140 d of inoculation,the fruiting stage can be reached,and the fruiting body can be harvested in 20–25 d. The average yield of a bag of 900 g wet material is about 94 g,the water content is 88%,the biological efficiency is 26.11%,the content of total flavonoids and polysaccharides in fruiting body is 7.27% and 3.46%,respectively. This new cultivar is suitable for substitute cultivation.
