A New Sanghuangporus baumii Cultivar‘Husang 2’

Abstract: ‘Husang 2’,a new Sanghuangporus baumii bred by ARTP mutation from its parent cultivated in Dabie Mountain in Anhui Province is reported. The average growth rate is 3.90 ± 0.064 mm • d-1 in PDA medium at 26 ℃. It is characterized by single and fan-shaped fruiting body,raised in the middle,yellow,hard flesh and dense texture. The average length,width and height of the fruiting bodies are 9.5 cm,4.8 cm and 2.7 cm,respectively. The average yield of‘Husang 2’is 73.56 g,the water content is 39.94%,the biological efficiency is 20.43%,the content of crude polysaccharides and total flavonoids in fruiting body are 5.72 % and 7.05 %,respectively.
