Abstract: ‘Hushouyou’ is high quality and mid2late ripening pomelo cultivarwhich was bred from superior individuals growing in low altitude mountainous area and interfluve of the southwest of Hubei p rovince.The fruit is p ip less or only a few p ip s, and the flesh of fruit can be easily apart with velum of bursa, and is tender and crisp and juicy, and also with a moderate taste of sweet and sour and with little bitterness. ‘Hushouyou’fruits are tolerant to storage, mid2late ripening, high p roducts, good adap tability, and strong fastness.
