Abstract: ‘Chuhong 3’is an nectarine cultivar with red flesh,which derived the cross of ‘Zaoyoutao’and‘Zaoxianhong’（‘Shuguang’בHongroutao 18’）. The fruit is oblong,with a pointed apes,and the single fruit weight is between 80-100 g. The fruit surface is smooth and hairless,the skin and flesh are bright red,clingstone and hard melting. The flavor is sweet,with a soluble solids content of 10% to 12% and a titratable acid content of 0.14% to 0.22%. The fruits ripening date is in the end of May to the beginning of june. The flower is showy with much pollen. The fruit development period is 74-81 days in Wuhan area. The yield is up to 22 500 kg · hm^-2.
