Abstract: ‘Zhongnong Wanmi’is a new extremely late-maturing peach cultivar selected from the seedling progenies of‘Jinqiuhongmi’. The fruit is extremely large with average weight about 256.0 g. They are round in shape with a flat top,the base color of the peel is light green,the surface is deep red. The flesh is pale green,with high anthocyanin content in the part near the stone,half-clingstone. The fruits taste crisp,sweet and refreshing,with the soluble solids content of 15%-20%,titratable acid content of 0.59%,vitamin C content of 0.12 mg · g^-1,and flesh firmness of 16.0 kg · cm^-2. This cultivar matures in late October in Rizhao,Shandong Province,with a fruit development period of approximately 210 days. The yield during the full fruiting period reaches 31 000 kg · hm^-2. Suitable for spring transplanting in Shandong Rizhao,Linyi and similar ecological climate regions.
