Abstract: ‘Guishuangse 4’is a new pitaya cultivar selected from the hybrid progeny of‘Guihonglong 1’and‘Zishuijing’. The fruit is oblate in shape,with unique red-and-white bicolored flesh. The flesh is fine in texture,free of grassy odor,and has a honey-like sweetness. The soluble solids content（SSC）at the fruit core ranges from 21.3% to 22.0%. The average single fruit weight is 264.39 g,and the edible portion can reach 76.3%. After three years of establishment,under natural conditions,the plants bear fruit 7-8 batches annually. The average yield is approximately 34 067 kg · hm^-2. It is suitable for cultivation in tropical and subtropical regions such as Guangxi,Guangdong,Hainan,Fujian,Yunnan,and Taiwan,China.
