Abstract: The peach rootstock‘Huazhen 1’was selected from the seedlings of Prunus sogdiana in Hungary in 2005. This rootstock has a semi-spreading tree posture，a high cutting survival rate，and can be grafted onto most peach varieties such as‘Huayu’‘Chunyan’，and‘Zhongyou 4’，with good compatibility，dwarfing characteristics，waterlogging tolerance，relatively good resistance to gummosis，and relatively good resistance to root nodules. It is suitable for cultivation in major peach-producing areas such as Shandong，Henan，Hubei，Jiangsu，Zhejiang，Guizhou，Yunnan，Hebei，and Sichuan.
