Abstract: ‘Ruiguang 55’is a mid-ripening nectarine cultivar derived from the cross of‘Huayu’× TE0896. The flower is showy with pollen. The fruit shape is round. The average fruit weight is 231.3 g，and the biggest one is 282.9 g. Nearly all fruit surface is covered by the hue of light red. The fruit has white，stony hard flesh. It tastes sweet. The soluble solids content is 13.3%. It is freestone. The fruit development period is 105 days. The trees are productive. The yield is up to 30 000 kg • hm-2.
