Abstract: ‘Zhongnong Hantao 6’is a new cold resistant peach cultivar derived from the cross of ‘Xiongyue Jutao’and‘Okubo’，with a moderate growth potential. Under the extreme low temperature of –23 to–20 ℃ in Huludao City，it can survive in open field without any protection measures in winter. The tree posture opens. The flowers is rose-shaped，and it has strong self-fruiting ability. The fruit development period is about 110 d；the fruit is round；the average fruit weight is 222.0 g；the pericarp is yellow and white；the flesh is white；and it is freestone. The soluble solids content is 12.3%；the titratable acid content is 0.30%；the vitamin C content is 70.1 μg • g-1. The yield in the first growth cycle is 12 600 kg • hm-2，and that in the second growth cycle is 31 500 kg • hm-2. The cultivar is moderate resistant to flow gum disease and black star disease，which is not torlerant to waterlogging and salt and alkali.
