辣椒反向温敏雄性核不育突变体E6421S不育特征及遗传规律研究

摘要: 对辣椒反向温敏雄性核不育突变材料E6421S的育性转换临界温度、生理生化特点及遗传规律进行了研究。结果表明:E6421S育性转换临界温度为28 ℃,28 ℃以上表现为可育,28 ℃以下不育;25 ℃下显微观察发现E6421S绒毡层在四分体时期与花粉母细胞黏连,导致花粉母细胞发生败育;生理生化分析发现E6421S花蕾各发育时期可溶性蛋白含量及过氧化氢酶活性明显低于正常育性的原品种,而游离脯氨酸含量与正常育性的原品种相反,随着花蕾的发育呈下降趋势;与正常育性的原品种6421杂交后代群体性状调查表明,E6421S不育性状由隐性单基因控制。

Abstract: The critical fertility transition temperature, physiological and biochemical characteristics and genetic law of a reverse thermo-sensitive male sterile mutant E6421S in peppers were studied. The results showed that the critical fertility transition temperature of E6421S was 28 ℃. It was fertile above 28 ℃,and was sterile below 28 ℃. Microscopic observation in 25 ℃ showed that the tapetum of E6421S adhered to pollen mother cells at tetrad stage,leading to the abortion of pollen mother cells. Physiological and biochemical analysis showed that the soluble protein content and catalase activity of E6421S flower buds were significantly lower than those of the original breed with normal fertility,while the free proline content decreased with the development of flower buds, which was opposite to that of the original breed with normal fertility. The investigation of population traits of E6421S and the normal fertile original variety 6421 hybrid progenies showed that the sterility trait of E6421S was single-gene controlled recessive trait.
