Abstract: ‘Xianwo 7’,which has been cultivated through selection of a wild Chinese kiwifruit seedlings and identified as an early-ripening and anti-canker kiwifruit cultivar with yellow flesh. The vigor of the tree growth is strong. The fruit shape is ovoid,slightly pointed at the beak end,and the skin color is brown,with sparse short down. The average fruit weight is 88.16 g,and the fruit flesh is medium yellow with good flavor. The soluble solids content is 18.2%,titratable acid content is 1.1% and vitamin C content is 1.32 mg · g^-1,and dry matter content is 21.08%. The fruit ripens in early September in Southeast Hubei. The yield of primary fruiting trees is 7.5 t · hm^-2,while that of the full fruit stage trees is 22.5 t · hm^-2. It is suitable for planting in the main kiwifruit producing areas such as Hubei,Hunan,Shaanxi,Sichuan,and other regions with similar climates.
