Abstract: ‘Guifenlong 7’is a new pitaya cultivar which is derived from a controlled cross between female parent‘Guihonglong 1’and male parent‘Zishuijing’. The fruit has a length of 11.63 cm and a width of 7.85 cm. It is oblong in shape,with an average single fruit weight of 430 g. The peel is green orange-red,while the flesh is pink.The flesh is smooth and sweet,with the average total soluble solid content of 15.7%. There are 8-10 batches of fruit per year. It is self-pollinating and has strong resistance. The annual yield is 26 000 kg · hm^-2,and it is suitable for cultivation in tropical and subtropical regions such as Guangxi,Guangdong,Hainan,Yunnan,Fujian,and Taiwan,China.
