Abstract: ‘Zhonghan 6’is a new cold-resistant peach cultivar selected from the hybrid progeny of‘Aodong Hantao’ב Zhongnong Hantao 1’. The flowers are bisexual with five petals. The fruits are round,with a transverse diameter of 6.1 cm and a longitudinal diameter of 5.8 cm. The fruit apex is slightly protruding,and the fruit is clingstone. The average single fruit weight is 88.2 g. The peel has a yellowish-white background color,and the flesh is white and firm. The soluble solid content is 7.7%,and the titratable acid content is 0.50%. The fruit development period is approximately 110 days. This cultivar has strong cold resistance and can overwinter in open fields under -23 ℃ to-20 ℃. It was trial-planted in Suizhong County,Huludao City,and Heishan County,Jinzhou City,Liaoning Province,The yields can reach 28 550 and 28 200 kg · hm^-2,respectively. It is suitable for spring cultivation in the Huludao region of Liaoning Province.
