Abstract: ‘Sujie 2’is a new mid-early maturity hybrid Chinese kale cultivar crossed by male sterile line. The leaves are oval,yellowish green,leaf length of 41.6 cm,leaf width of 25.3 cm. The stem length is 34.2 cm,the stem diameter is 3.8 cm,and the single stem weight is 222 g. The stem has the characteristics of thick stem,less wax powder,long internodes and other excellent commodity. It is mid-early maturity and can be harvested after planting for about 40 days. It has strong disease resistance and wide adaptability in the field. It is suitable for cultivation in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River such as Jiangsu and Zhejiang,and can be planted in open fields and protected fields.
