A New Seedless Pummelo Cultivar‘Huayou 3’

摘要: ‘华柚3号’是以‘国庆1号’温州蜜柑为愈伤亲本,沙田柚为叶肉亲本经原生质体融合再生的二倍体雄性不育胞质杂种。树势强,果实梨形或葫芦形,橙黄色,隔离种植果实完全无核,平均单果质量978 g,果皮中等厚,可食率54%左右;果肉浅黄色,风味浓甜,低酸,有香气,品质优良;果实可溶性固形物含量13% ~ 15%,可滴定酸含量0.4% ~ 0.7%。在湖北武汉地区种植,果实11—12月成熟。

Abstract: ‘Huayou 3’is a male sterile diploid cybrid produced by protoplast fusion with‘Guoqing 1’Satsuma mandarin as callus parent and‘Shatian’pummelo as leaf parent. It grows vigorously. Due to the fertile pistil,‘Huayou 3’can produce seedless fruits when cultivated separately from other citrus cultivars. The mature fruit is orange-yellow and pyriform or cucurbit in shape,having the average fruit weight of 978 g,medium peel thickness and the edible rate of 54%. The pulp is pale-yellow with low acid and aroma,containing total soluble solids(TSS)of 13%–15% and total acid(TA)of 0.4%–0.7%. In Wuhan,the fruit ripening period is from November to December.
