Abstract: ‘Jimei’is new peach cultivar selected fromseedling. It has excellent characteristics such as early maturity，strong cold resistance，high yield. The vigor of growth is moderate. The fruit shape is cordate with acuminate top and hairy peel. It has medium fruit size，and the average weight of single fruit is 84.57 g. The pericarp is creamy yellow with dark red at the top and red on the sunny side. The skin is thin and easy to peel off. The fruit flesh is red，and it is dark red near the pit. It is freestone. The fruit with a strong aroma is soft，juicy，delicious，and it tasete slight sweet and sour. The average content of soluble solids，total acid and vitamin C were 13.2%，8.5 g • L-1 and 60.92 mg • kg-1，respectively. The fruit can be stored at room temperature for 6 to 10 days. The average yield per year is 24 999.3 kg • hm-2.
