Abstract: ‘Yuntai’is a new Olea europaea cultivar selected from the Beihe Oil Olive Garden in Xichang，Sichuan Province. The cultivar has strong early-setting，high and stable yield and high oil content. The average weight of single fruit was 3.34 g，and the average oil content of fresh fruit was 22.03%，of which oleic acid content was 77.41%. The fruit matured from mid-September to early October. The cultivar has strong cold resistance to the main diseases and insects of oil olive，such as flies，peacock spot disease and verticillium wilt disease. Planting the two-year-old cuttage seedlings，it flowered and fruited in the next year. In the fifth year，it entered the peak fruit stage. Average yield per plant was over 8.06 kg and the average yield was over 6 649.5 kg ? hm-2. It is mainly suitable for cultivation in Anning River Basin and Bailongjiang River Basin，especially suitable for hot river valley.
