摘要: 兜兰新品种‘紫光’是以红旗兜兰(Paphiopedilum charlesworthii)优良株系‘CZ-1’为母本,‘黑光’兜兰(Paph.‘Blacklight’)优良株系‘BZ-1’为父本通过人工授粉杂交后经单种子播种、组培快繁选育而成。叶黄绿色,叶背紫色。花葶近直立,平均长12.3 cm,深紫色有细密绒毛。花单朵,暗紫红色,平均横径9.4 cm,纵径7.7 cm。中萼片近圆形,两侧略向后翻卷;花瓣匙形,略卷曲,黑紫色;唇瓣盔状,黑紫色。盛花期3月,单朵花寿命40 ~ 45 d。

Abstract: ‘SCBG Ziguang’is a new cultivar of Paphiopedilum developed by tissue culture of a seed crossed from two excellent strains of female parent Paph. charlesworthii and male parent Paph. ‘Blacklight’. This cultivar is characterized by strong growth vigor. The surface of leaves of the cultivar is yellow-green and the undersurface of leaves is purple. The dark-purple inflorescence is nearly erect with thick hairs,its average length is 12.3 cm with an purple-red flower,9.4 cm in average transverse diameter and 7.7 cm in vertical diameter. Middle sepals are nearly round and their sides roll back. Deep-purple petals are spoonful and curly. Labellum is helmet-shaped and deep-purple. The full-blossom is in March and the lifetime of a single flower is 40 to 45 d.
