Abstract: ‘Gan Kugua 7’is a new bitter gourd F1 hybrid developed by crossing high generation inbred line BK0701-8（♀）with high generation inbred line BK0604-1（♂）. It’s an medium maturing variety. The first nodal position of female flower on main vine is 18–22. The fruit is stick and regular in shape，with 25–30 cm in length，8 cm in diameter，1.2 cm of flesh thickness. The single fruit weight is around 450 g. It is very good exterior commodity with green-white skin，lustre，and full tumour. It has excellent quality and flavor，with yield of 45 t ? hm-2.
