Abstract: ‘Qin Ziguang 1’was a new octoploid cultivar that selected from the wild Actinidia arguta var. giraldii in Qinling Mountains. The fruit skin is purplish red and hairless. The fruit shape is long oval, and fruit weight is 5–8 g. It has red purple fruit flesh with high nutrition, including 6.04% total sugar content,1.39% total acid content,0.634 mg · g-1 vitamin C content,12.14% soluble solids content. The fruit has unique flavor with suitable sweetness and acidity. However,‘Qin Ziguang 1’has poor storage life and the fruit is easy to ripening after harvest.
