A New Myrobalan Plum Cultivar ‘Senguo Honglu’

Abstract: ‘Senguo Honglu’was selected from the open-pollinated seedlings of wild myrobalan plum in allopatric conserving garden. The trees are spreding and branch weeping with high productive. Its fruit is nearly round. The average fruit weight is 18.89 g,the biggest is 22.88 g. It has a yellow background color,covered with red and even purple,covered with fruit powder. The flesh is yellow,delicate and juicy. The soluble solids content is 12%,total sugar of 127.35 mg · g-1 FW,total acid of 4.14 mg · g-1 FW. Acid-sweet and flavor is unique. The fruit development period is about 105 days. It ripens in early August in Jiaozhou of Qingdao.
