Abstract: ‘Zhongjiao 209’is a mid-early hybrid spiral pepper cultivar using inbred line 86039 as the female parent and 11C-28 as the male parent. It has good fruit setting ability，and the average first floral bud is borne at the 10th node. The fruit is goat-horn-shaped，with pits and spirals on the fruit surface. The average longitudinal diameter of the fruit is 25–28 cm，the average horizontal diameter of the fruit is 4 cm，the flesh thickness is about 0.25 cm，the average fruit weight is 50–60 g，and the yield is 29 964.0 kg • hm-2. It is of moderate resistance to CMV and TMV.
