A New Blueberry Cultivar‘Chasing Dream’

Abstract: ‘Chasing Dream’is a new mid-early ripening southern highbush blueberry cultivar selected from natural hybridization seedlings of‘Bluerain’seeds. The fruit shape of‘Chasing Dream’is oblate. The fruit depression depth is medium. The average fruit weight is 2.20 g and the biggest one is 2.89 g. Its fruit powder is medium with uniform texture. The color is bright blue. The fruit is sweet and sour. The soluble solids content(°Brix)is 13.0. It has excellent flavor,high yield and storage resistance,which is suitable for fresh or processing market.
