Abstract: A new Lentinula edodes cultivar‘Shenxiang 050’was obtained by single-spore hybrid breeding technique, using the widely cultivated high polysaccharide cultivar‘Shenxiang 1504’and the traditional high-temperature tolerant cultivar‘Shenxiang 1726’as parents. Its mycelial growth rate is fast, with a growth period of 80 days. The number of mushroom buds is moderate, with solitary fruiting body, uniform size, round shape and hard and solid texture. The color of pileus is light, with small scale and convex longitudinal section. It has strong adaptability and is suitable for factory production and facility cultivation on a national scale. It has stable cultivation performance in various regions, with a four-tide yield of 746.23 g per log and a biological efficiency of 93.3%.
