A New Cultivar of Cauliflower‘Wenxuan70’

Abstract:

Cauliflower‘Wenxuan 70’is a conventional early maturing cultivar selected from the single plant of cauliflower‘Ruixueteda 80’. The plant is erect to semi erect. Its plant is about 50 cm in height and 70 cm in width. The leaf length and the leaf width is 48.5 cm and 27.5 cm,respectively. The leaves are light green with thick wax. Its curd is semi-circular,compact and white. The curd weight is 1.35 kg with 15.0 cm in transverse diameter and 8.5 cm in lengthways diameter. The new cultivar is suitable for planting in autumn in Zhejiang,and its growing period from transplantation to harvest is about 70 days. The yield is 40 500 kg · hm-2.
