A New Edible Ornamental Plum Cultivar‘Yipin Danfeng’

Abstract: ‘Yipin Danfeng’is a new plum cultivar which originated from a cross-combination ‘Kongquedan Shishengli’with‘Changchun Caiyeli’. Its fruit is round in shape with a flat top. The average single fruit weight is 15.9 g. The fruit peel is purplish red. The color of flesh is red. The flesh texture is spongy with rich juice and fine fiber. The fruit taste sour and sweet. The soluble solids content of fruit is 14.7% in the initial mature stage and it is up to 20% in the middle of September. The total acid content is 0.753%. The color of leaves and annual shoots is red.‘Yipin Danfeng’is an excellent edible ornamental cultivar with good comprehensive characters including high and stable yield and strong cold resistance.
