Abstract: ‘Nongcheng Xinyu 1’is a new cucumber hybrid（female line Q53 × male line C37）with white skin fruit and stronger plant growth. The first female flower appears on the third or fourth node. Fruits are mainly bear on the main stem and develop fast. The fruit is in long cylinder shape with length of 30–32 cm and width of 3–4 cm. The single fruit is about 160–200 g. The fruit is in white green color with shine，with dense white thorns and medium sized knobs on the surface，tastes crisp and tolerant to storage. The cultivar is resistant to downy mildew，powdery mildew and fusarium wilt，with wide adaptability and suitable to grow in plastic tunnel and greenhouse in northern China.
