Abstract: ‘Manyuan Hong’is an early-maturing nectarine cultivar which selected from the single branch mutation of‘Zhongyou 4’. It matures about 7–10 days earlier than‘Zhongyou 4’. The fruits are elliptic or oval，weighing 134.8 g on average and 230 g on maximum，with surface covered by red to dark red. The fruits are top flat and around，middle part obvious，carpopodium thick and short，stems broad and deep. The flesh is yellow，hard-melting and succulent crisp. The soluble solids content，total acid content and vitamin C content are 11.8%，0.692% and 87.1 mg · kg^-1，respectively. The stone is cling and nuclear stick. The fruit development period is about 70 days. It is very productive. Fruit shelf-life is long.
