A New Welsh Onion Cultivar‘Xincong 2’

Abstract:

‘Xincong 2’was bred by multi-crossing with multi-parents, to gather many excellent genes which existed in different parents in order to possess many outstanding advantages,such as disease resistance,wide adaptability and high yield. Its cauloid is about 50 cm long and 2–3 cm in diameter,the
average yield can reach 75 000 kg · hm-2. It is suitable for planting in the north and the sourth.
