A New Zizyphus jujuba Cultivar‘Shiguang’

Abstract: ‘Shiguang’is a new fresh Chinese jujube(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.)cultivar selected from clones of‘Linyi Lizao’. The fruit is oblate. The average fruit weight is 34.3 g,the maximum is 108 g. The flesh is juicy,sour-sweet,with 14.48 kg • cm-2 fruit hardness,26.3% soluble solids content.‘Shiguang’ has excellent characteristics such as fine flesh,high resestance to fruit cracking,high yield,early bearing. The fruit developing period is 105–115 days.
