Abstract: ‘Ximi 3’is a early-maturing melon hybrid with high yield，superior quality and higher economic benefit. The whole fruit growth period is 85–90 d and the fruit developing period is 28–30 d. Fruit is a white regular spherical. The flesh is jacinth，thick，tender in texture，faint scent. The soluble solids content is 17.1%. The fruit weight is 800–1 000 g. It is resistant to downy mildew and tolerant to storage. The yield is up to 45 000–60 000 kg · hm-2.
