A New High Lycopene Cherry Toma to Cultivar‘Yinghong 1’

Abstract: ‘Yinghong 1’ is a new cherry tomato cultivar which was selected from crossing of Holland‘Yingtaohong’ ×Japan ‘Baibai’. It has unlimited branches and grows vigorously. The first inflorescence is situated between the eighth and ninth node and each inflorescence bears 30-50 fruits. The single fruitweight is 15-20 g. The fruit is bright red, round, and tastes verywell. It has excellent characteristics such as high lycopene content, long2storage. Its yield is 45.0 - 52.5 t·hm-2. It is high resistant to virus disease and fusarium wilt disease, resistant to root2knot nematode disease, tolerant to bacterial wilt disease. It is suitable for growing in open fields, p rotected fields in north of China.
