Abstract: In order to evaluate the restoration effect of cropping systems on continuous cropping soil, treatments of nitrogen-catching crop, rotation, and intercrop were adapted to study soil fertility and microbial indexes of the soil from an 8-year continuous cropping field using pot experiments. Fallow was used as a control (CK). Cucumber yield were recorded. By planting garlic and leafy vegetable, soil salt were significantly reduced, number of soil microbe increased, and the reproduction of Fusarium was inhibited. Income from leafy vegetable-cucumber-tomato treatment increased by 26.3% and that from garlic-cucumber-cucumber increased by 11.6%, while income from treatment of cucumber intercropping garlic was almost the same as that from CK. Therefore, the treatment of leafy vegetable-cucumber-tomato or the treatment of garlic-cucumber-cucumber could improve composition of soil microbe, restore continuous cropping soil, and increase income.
