A New Superior Cultivar ‘Huangpeng’of Chestnut

Abstract: ‘Huangpeng’ is a new cultivar selected from the seedlings grown in a hilly orchard of over 300 meters high above sea level in the early of 1990 s. It is precious, has good harvest, can be grown in drought and infertile land. This is an early- and middle-ripe cultivar, which has strong adaptability, grows
well in many types of soil. It is a cultivar for stir-frying.
