A New Cucumber Cultivar —‘Lüdao 1’

Abstract

Abstract: ‘Lüdao 1’is a new special cultivar for greenhouse cultivation. Its plant grows moderately. The first florescence locates at the third or fourth joint place of the plant . The length of the fruits is 25 - 30 cm with bright-green surface , and white spines sparse on the fruit skin. Its taste is excellent . Its yield increases about 49.5 % than the control cultivar of‘Changchunmici’. This cultivar is most suitable for the winter and spring protected field in north of China.
