Abstract: ‘Yanchuan Goutouzao’is a new fruit-drying variety of jujube．The fruit is large，oval or taper shape ，the average fruit mass is l8.7 g，the heaviest reaches 25.4 g．The fruit is unifonTl，attactive，good quality fruit，and applicable to fruit-eating and acing．The flesh is crisp，juicy，and sour sweet．The fresh fruits ripen in late September， the ripening date of drying -fruit is in early October in north Shaanxi． Th e fresh fruits have long storage life．And its cultivated region is in north China with the cool temperature(10.0—11.0℃)and rainfall(annual preciptafion of about 500 mm)．
