Abstract: The propagation in vitro of shoot-tips and quality of plandets of Brassica campestris L.ssp. chinensis var. utilis Tsen et Lee.were affected by the combination of BA and NAA with diferent concentrations.Higher rate of shoot proliferation with better quality of planflets could be obtained when the concentration of BA in medium was mole than 0.8 mg·L-1 and optimal concentration of NAA was less than 0.5 mg·L-1.The efect of KT or ZT respectively on propagation WaS better than that of the combination of the both when total concentrations were identica1.The orientations of plant was found to afect the proliferation rate.Heat shock with shoot—tips at
45 ℃ for 2 h could stimulate the proliferation of shoots.
