Abstract: The effects of different irrigation methods on growth of vine and quality of grape and wine were studied. The results showed that the soil configurationwas improved by controlled irrigation, with increasing of root density in deep soil and sugar content of berry. Meanwhile the acid and salt content of the berry decreased and pH was modified. The wines had better aroma and flavor under controlled irrigation. 3825- 4800 m3#hm-2 water per year was needed in controlled irrigation, saving 36% water compared to the regular one.
