Abstract: ‘Nantianhong’banana is a new cultivar selected from the natural mutation of ‘Nantianhuang’. The pseudostem average height is 2.59 m. The pseudostem pigmentation of young seedling is dull red outside and turns to green after flowering. The bract of male flower is dark red outside，revolute and not easily falls off. The‘Nantianhong’takes 11–13 months from planting to harvest，the bunch weigh is 25 kg with good fruit quality. For its moderate to high resistance to Foc. 4，it can be promoted extensively in banana planting area with supporting cultivation techniques.
