A New Hibiscus rosa-sinensis Cultivar‘CATAS Golden Shield’

Abstract: The novel cultivar Hibiscus‘CATAS Golden Shield’was derived from the offspring of F1 (H. rosa-sinensis‘Jim Hendry’בZJ41’). It is characterized by dense plant habit,annual flowering,single cartwheel and well-arranged petals with yellow colour.‘CATAS Golden Shield’displays high tolerance to common pests and diseases,so it is suitable for landscaping in South China.
