A New High-flavonoid Apple Cultivar‘Fuhong’

Abstract: ‘Fuhong’is a new apple cultivar derived from the cross‘Red Fuji’× CSR6R6. The fruit is nearly round,with an average fruit weight of 171.9 g. The background is yellow green,the whole fruit surface is bright red,smooth and glossy. Sepal is closed with convex calyx. Fruit stem grows thick,with deep and broad fruit depression. The fruit flesh is red,crispy,sweet and sour. It has good appearance,fresh food and nutrition quality. It blooms in early April and ripens in late September in Guanxian of Shandong. The fruit development period is 170 days. The yield reached 28.34 t ? hm-2 in the third year. It has wide adaptability,resistance to early leaf fall,powdery mildew,black-dot and red-dot disease.
