A New Mid-late Ripening Pyrus pyrifolia Cultivar‘Jinfeng’

Abstract: ‘Jinfeng’selected from‘Jingshui 1’בHosui’,is a new mid-late ripening cultivar of Pyrus pyrifolia. This new cultivar has vigorous growth and spreading habit. Fruits are oblate,average weight is 320 g. Fruits have light russet peel,smooth skin without rusty spot. The fruit is fine,juicy. The soluble solids content is 11.14%–12.04%. The fruit growth period is 147 d and it matures in mid-late August in Wuhan. The cultivar matures early,with high yield and moderate resistance to pear black spot.
