Abstract:

‘Yujiao’is a new table cultivar of Chinese jujube（Ziziphus jujuba Mill.） selected from the natural-pollinated seedlings of‘Daxuezao’，it is mid-late ripening and highly resistant to fruit shrinking and cracking. The fruits are round，dark red，and ripen in late September with average fruit weight of 19.71 g and edible ratio of 96.2%. The fruit tastes excellent owning to its crisp，juicy and sweet pulp.‘Yujiao’has advantages of early-fruiting and high yield and is suitable to be cultivated in Xianxian，Zanhuang，Xingtang of Hebei and other areas with similar ecological conditions.
