Abstract: ‘Folinghong’is a new litchi cultivar which was selected from open-pollinated seedlings. The fruit is spherical to nearly heart-shaped,with a bright red peel,relatively flat apex of fissure ridges,thick and juicy flesh,sweet and slightly fragrant;the average single fruit weight is 24.8 g,edible rate is 79.6%,soluble solids content is 19.7%,titratable acid content is 0.67 g · kg^-1,and VC content is 290.0 mg·kg^-1. It ripens in mid-to-late June in Dongguan City，Guangdong Province.‘Folinghong’is suitable for cultivation in the mid-late maturing litchi production areas in Guangdong Province.
