Abstract: ‘Yuncui’is a new cultivar of jujube bred from the ancient tree in Liuhegou Village,Taishitun Town,Miyun District,Beijing. The fruit showed oval shape. The average weight of the fruits is 23.5 g,edible rate is 96.0%,the soluble solids content is 22.8% at the crisp ripening stage and the vitamin C content is 3.42 mg · g^-1. The fruit skin is moderately thick,and the flesh is green and white,tender and compact,crisp and sweet. The seed kernel rate is 75.0%. The fruit ripens in mid-September in Beijing and is a mid-ripening cultivar. The average output is 16 200 kg · hm^-2. It is suitable to be cultivated in Beijing and other regions with similar ecological conditions.
