Abstract: ‘Miyu 80’is a new thick-skinned muskmelon cultivar bred by crossing the inbred line YR-74（female parent）with the inbred line DZ-9（male parent）. The average fruit weight is 2.0 kg,with green flesh,the soluble solid content in the center of the fruit is 17.5%,and the flesh is soft,glutinous,sweet and fragrant. The total growth period is 108 days,the fruit development period is 45 days,and the yield is 55 000-60 000 kg · hm^-2. It is suitable for spring protected cultivation in most areas of China.
